Plan a trip to the scenic Turtle Mountains and visit Bartlett Farms this weekend! Get hands-on experience milking a cow, riding a horse, making butter, and go home inspired knowing where your food comes from and why it matters!

All ages are welcome!

Activities may include:

Cow milking contest. Try your hand at milking a real cow, and see how you'd do as an old-fashioned farmer!
Horse rides on Darla the Morgan horse. Feel the rhythm of a real horse beneath you in the saddle.
Various chores. Feeding pigs, gathering eggs, pitching hay. Try your hand at what farmers do every day.
Butter making. Shake a quart jar of cream and watch it transform into real raw butter.
Great conversation. Connect with like-minded people that share a holistic view of life and health.

A closer look at raw milk, from producing it safely, to processing it into the products you enjoy.
A closer look at grass-fed beef, why it's better for you and what goes into creating the building blocks for your body.
A closer look at pastured pork, why forest-raised hogs are a healthier solution for a real food diet.

What to bring:

Be prepared for being outside in sunny weather (hats, water, sunscreen and shoes for walking). Bring a friend! Or make it an adventure for the whole family.
